Our two sided Kilim - Beni Ourain carpet is a flat weave, hand-woven, low pile carpet on one side and on the other side has a more fluffy texture. Our carpet is entirely handwoven and made from the very finest wool.
Wool is a natural textile fiber and one of the most popular materials in carpet making.
It has natural dirt-repellent properties and is easy to keep clean. The material is also flame retardant and retains its characteristic appearance for a long time because the pile straightens up and returns to its original state.
Vintage early 20th century. Unique collectible piece.
Basic care:
-Regular sweeping and vacuuming is necessary
-Once a year, getting it professionally cleaned will prevent soils and stains from getting imbedded.
-Do not clean with hot water.
